The United Kingdom

The United Kingdom, made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, is an island nation in northwestern Europe. England – birthplace of Shakespeare and The Beatles – is home to the capital, London, a globally influential centre of finance and culture. England is also site of Neolithic Stonehenge, Bath’s Roman spa and centuries-old universities at Oxford and Cambridge

Around 65 million people live in the UK.[They can be divided into four big nationalities based on the countries where they live. These countries, and the names of the people and language spoken there, are as follows:

England

Is the biggest country, and the one where most people in the UK live. People who live in England are called English. Their native language is called English, which is spoken by almost everyone in the UK and has become a global lingua franca. A few people in the southwest part of England can speak Cornish, a Celtic language.

Scotland

To the north of England, is the second biggest country. People who live here are called Scottish, and some speak languages called Scottish Gaelic, a Celtic language, or Scots, which is a lot like English but is different from it.

Wales

Is to the west of England. Its people are called Welsh and have their own Celtic language which is also called Welsh. Not everyone in Wales can speak Welsh, but almost everyone can speak English.

Northern Ireland

Is on the island of Ireland, which is west of Great Britain where the other three countries are on. Some Irish people live here and speak Irish, another Celtic language, or Ulster Scots, a dialect of the language spoken in Scotland.

Day 1 London Arrival

Arrive at Airport and take a transfer to reach your Hotel. The balance day is at leisure so that you can relax after your long haul flight. (Dinner).

Day 2 London- City tour

After Breakfast, proceed for a guided city tour of London to see the main sights such as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge concluding the tour at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. Later Board the thrilling flight on London Eye for a spectacular bird’s eye view of the England's capital. (Breakfast and Dinner).

Day 3 London – Windsor – Oxford – Kendal / Windermere

Check out post breakfast. Board your coach and proceed to Kendal / Windermere. Enroute you will have an opportunity to enjoy an orientation tour of Windsor and Oxford. Windsor is a town on the river Thames and is home to Windsor Castle. On the other hand Oxford is a city of dreaming spires famous for its prestigious university.

Day 4 Kendal / Windermere – Lake District - Edinburgh

Check out post breakfast. Today, we drive through England's first ever National Park known as the Lake District, a mountainous region dotted with lakes, truly an inspiration for many writers including William Wordsworth. Enjoy a cruise on Lake Windermere. We proceed to Scotland. En route, stop at Gretna Green one of the world's most popular wedding destination. Later, we drive to Edinburgh – Scotland's compact hilly capital.

Day 5 Edinburgh - City Tour

After Breakfast, proceed for a guided city tour to view the Scottish Parliament Building, Holyrood Palace, St. Giles Cathedral and Edinburgh Castle. Enjoy free time at Princes Street. Balance day is free at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 6 Edinburgh – Loch Lomond - Glasgow

After Breakfast, Transfer to Loch Lomond, Enjoy circular cruise for 1 hour, a truly elegant and relaxing way to discover beautiful Loch Lomond from an intimate perspective. Continue onto Glasgow – a port city on the River Clyde. Upon arrival, proceed for a guided city tour to view People's Palace, Glasgow Tower, Theatre Royal and Cathedral. Free time at Glasgow Green.

Day 7 Glasgow - York

After Breakfast, Transfer to York – a walled city in northeast England. Upon arrival, proceed for a guided city tour to view York Minster, York Castle, Rowntree Park and Bridges of York.

Day 8 York - London

After Breakfast, Transfer to London. Balance day is free at leisure to explore the city on your own.

Day 9 London Deapture

Breakfast, Take a shuttle transfer to the Airport.

  • Before 45 days - No cancellation
  • 44 days - 33 days: 25% of total cost
  • 30 days - 16 days: 50% of total cost
  • 15 days - 10 days: 75% of total cost
  • Less than 10 days: 100% of total cost (Non Refundable)
