Gokyo Ri reflects the love and the light of Choyo in the early morning. While climbing along the northern shore of Dudh Pokhari towards the Gokyo Ri peak, you see splendid views of Makalu, Everest, Gyachung Kang. They appear alluringly magical especially during the sunset. After all, such splendid viewing experiences form the basis of trekking in Nepal Interestingly, in the Gokyo valley, one can also indulge in unique flavor of tea available in the local teahouses and lodges operated by Sherpas. Day 1: Kathmandu 1350m

Art Summit Travel and Tour’s representative pick you up from the airport then transfer to hotel. And guide brief you logistics part of the trip before dinner.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla & Trek to Phakding 2610m

One of the exciting and impressive flight to Lukla takes twenty-five minutes. Then meet the team and begin trek it is approximately three and half hours waling to Phakding.

Day 3: Phakding to Namche 3440m

Today we ascend steeply to Namche, passing through suspension bridge, Monjo and Jorsale villages, also you see first glams of mount Everest before getting to destination. Namche is very famous for Serpa culture, as you reach Namche, there are may shops and tea houses to attract tourist, it takes six to seven hours.

Day 4: Namche to Phorste Thanga 3680m

Today your trek begin steeply ascending towards Khumgung, passes through Yak Kharkas and summer settlements. The views of Tawache and Khumbi La are superb throughout the day. It is approximately five hours walk.

Day 5: Phorshe to Machherma 4470m

Today journey will be five hour, a ridge along the pathfascinates us with dual views. The valley to Kengtega downwards and Cho Oyo upwards. We climb yet again to the terminal moraine of the Ngozumpz glacier.

Day 6: Machherma to Gokyo 4790m

Today you reach our final destination Gokyo, which might take you four hours, as you reach there you see beautiful lake and thrilling view of mountains.

Day 7: Trek to Gokyo Ri 5360m

then Back to Gokyo. Today hike up to the Gokyo Ri early morning, it will be five hours. You see the stunning views of the Gokyo valley, the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible panoramic view of the Khumbu valley. In additional Lhotse, Everest, Makalu, Nuptse, and Cho-Oyu can be seen.

Day 8: Trek to Dole 4200m

Today have to walk approximately six hours, taking same path downhill to Dole.

Day 9: Dole to Namche 3450m

Today we are going down to Namche Bazaar via classic Sherpa village of Khumjung. It might take five hours to the destination.

Day 10: Namche to Lukla 2840m

We are going back to Lukla along Dudh Koshi, Jorsale, Monjo and Phakding. And exiting out of the Everest national park. This is the last night you can share your memories, happiness and calibration with team, next day will not see them.

Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu 1350m

Early morning good bye to crew and fly to Kathmandu.

Day 12: Kathmandu 1350m

Free or additional day if the flight had been canceled Lukla – Kathmandu.

Day 13: Fly back to Home

This is your departure day and we drop you to airport

  • All the transport by private vehicle as per itinerary.
  • Accommodation in three star hotels with breakfast as per itinerary.
  • Accommodation in tea house runs by local people during trek.
  • Meal on full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trek.
  • Experience license holder trekking guide and porters.
  • Accommodation, food, salary, insurance and transportation to the staffs Group medical supplies.
  • All necessary paper and trekking permits Kathmandu / Lukla / Kathmandu air fare.
  • Nepal entry visa fee
